1. Gather all necessary materials.
2. In a large microwaveable bowl, microwave margarine 30 - 60 seconds or until melted.
3. Add marshamallows, tossing to coat. Microwave at High 1 - 1 1 /2 minutes or until smooth when stirred, stirring after 45 seconds.
4. Stir in vanilla.
5. Add cereal, stirring until well coated.
6. Using a lightly-greased spatula, press into greased 13" by 9" pan. Cool. Cut into squares.

For crispier squares, add 1/2 cup rice krispee cereal.
For something different, try melting a Mars Bar in with the margarine, 1 tbsp. peanut butter, or 1/4 cup chocolate chips!
